Evaluation of Translation products
The National Translation consultant will often be invited to give input or to help evaluate nonprint translation products.
a) In the case of faith comes by hearing recordings, for example, what would be the criteria with which to work in order to help a translation team and the recorders to produce an acceptable audio rendition of the written translation and how does the audio recording function as a revision of the written text.
b) Through the discussion of other audio-visual material, part of which are part of the preparatory cycle, the group will discuss and tackle the evaluation of "beyond print material".
c) During this lab we will explore the the following three aspect of intersemiotic translation products:
i) Exegetical ii) Hermeneutical iii) Socio-cultural acceptability issues
